The Sanremo Flower Festival returns from March 13 to 16, 2025, with a rich program of events, exhibitions, and shows dedicated to the floral world. A unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the beauty of nature through artistic installations, exhibitions, concerts, and the traditional parade of flower floats.

Program

Wednesday, March 25

  • 5:00 PM – Opening of the photography exhibition “Metaflora – The Flower and the Absurd” by Bart Herreman at the Galleria Arte della Pigna, Via Palma 2 (open until 19 April).

Thursday, March 26

  • 9:00 AM – Opening of the exhibition “From the Egyptians to Sanremo, Flowers and Perfumes in History” at the Forte di Santa Tecla (paid admission).
  • 9:00 AM – Opening of the “House of Flowers” exhibition at the Civic Museum.
  • 9:00 AM–6:00 PM – Opening of the “Metaflora” exhibition at the Galleria Arte della Pigna.
  • 10:00 AM – Official opening ceremony of the Flower Festival in Piazza Borea d’Olmo.
  • 10:00 AM – Guided tour of the Historic Fountains route (departure from Piazza Nota).
  • 10:00 AM–12:00 PM – Floral art workshop at Forte di Santa Tecla.
  • 2:00 PM – Guided tour of the Historic Fountains route.
  • 2:30–4:30 PM – Palm-weaving (“parmureli”) workshop.
  • 4:30–5:30 PM – Conference “Palms, Queens of the Mediterranean and a Message of Peace.”
  • 5:00 PM – Screening of the documentary “Cartas de Calvino” at the Ex Oratory of Santa Brigida.

Friday, March 27

  • From 8:00 AM – Beginning of installation of the Spello flower carpet (Infiorata) in Piazza Nota.
  • 9:00 AM–7:00 PM – Opening of exhibitions (Forte di Santa Tecla, Civic Museum, Galleria Arte della Pigna).
  • 10:00 AM – Guided tour of the Historic Fountains route.
  • 10:00 AM–12:00 PM – Floral art workshop.
  • 2:00 PM – Guided tour of the Historic Fountains route.
  • 2:30 PM – International Union Fleurs conference “The Flower of the Future” at the Casino.
  • 2:30–4:30 PM – Palm-weaving workshop.
  • 4:30 PM – Conference “The Myth of Captain Bresca and the Palms on the Road to Rome.”
  • 4:30 PM – Opening of the Spello Infiorata in Piazza Nota.
  • 5:00 PM – Screening of the documentary “Ibridazioni.”
  • 6:00 PM – Concert of the Sanremo Symphony Orchestra at the Casino Opera Theatre (free admission).

Saturday, March 28

  • 9:00 AM–7:00 PM – Free visits to exhibitions and floral installations.
  • 10:00 AM – Guided tour of the gardens of Villa Ormond.
  • 10:00 AM–12:00 PM – Floral art workshop.
  • 11:00 AM – Concert “Sacred Songs” by the Compagnia Sacco of Ceriana at the Monumental Cemetery of La Foce.
  • 2:00 PM – Guided tour of the Historic Fountains route.
  • 2:30–4:30 PM – Palm-weaving workshop.
  • 4:30–7:30 PM – Parade of historic cars (Milan–Sanremo) through city streets.
  • 4:30 PM – Conference “Pharaohs and Flowers.”
  • 5:00 PM – Musical show “Pollici verdi.”
  • 9:00 PM – Theatre show “E se domani…” with Giorgio Panariello at the Teatro Ariston (paid admission).

Sunday, March 29

  • Morning and afternoon – Flower and farmers’ market at Giardini Vittorio Veneto.
  • 9:00 AM–7:00 PM – Exhibitions and installations open in the various Festival venues.
